Basic Class

Whether you’re six or sixty, Art Journeys at Badass Art Gallery will guide you to explore the many facets of creating art with different mediums, such as sketching with pen and pencil, painting with pastels and watercolors, and mastering the more advanced acrylic and oil paints.

Learn about perspective, textures, light and shadow, composition, and other aspects that can make your artwork come to life! Study and apply techniques for painting various subjects—from still life to landscapes, portraits, figures, and abstracts. Of course, you’re free to discover your own style! Our Badass maestros will be there to guide you in developing your artistic skills.

Workshops are held year-round, with different sessions to accommodate your school or work schedules. Kids, teens, adults, or seniors: All are welcome! No previous experience needed. No need to pack your stuff. We’ll provide all the materials you’ll need. Just bring your curious, enthusiastic, creative self!

Upon completion of their Art Journeys, students will have their best works exhibited at the Badass Art Gallery for everyone to view—and buy!
